Peachtree Audio

Peachtree Audio was showing a number of new products at CES 2015 including the sonaDAC ($1500) pictured above. Sporting the ESS 9180 DAC, the sonaDAC can handle up to 32/384 PCM and DSD via USB. There's also pairs of Toslink and Coax S/PDIF inputs and single-ended and XLR outputs. Production units should hit the streets by March/April. There's also a matching 150wpc ICEpowered amp, the sonaAMP ($1000).

The Peachtree Shift ($399) is a portable headphone amp/DAC that is also capable of handling up to 32/384 PCM and DSD playback. The Shift connects to your iOS or compatible Android device and the included cable allows you to charge your device from the Shift. Look for the Shift in March/April as well.

deepblue2 is a wireless Bluetooth speaker that houses a custom developed 440-watt amplifier, a long excursion 6.5-inch woofer, two 3" mid-range drivers, and two 1" soft-dome tweeters all wrapped up in a portable 1/2 cubic foot box. This isn't your hipster's Bluetooth speaker. There are also two wired inputs: a 24/96-capable optical input and one 3.5mm analog input so you can leash your MacBook to the little deepblue2 for some high res sound on the go.
