Digibit Aria Piccolo

I reviewed the impressive Digibit Aria Server (see review) back in 2014. For CES 2016, Digibit introduced the Piccolo ($TBD) that fits in the company's line between the Aria mini ($2995) and the Aria ($6995). The Piccolo will come with your choice of 1TB/2TB (HDD) or 1TB (SSD) internal storage and a 32/384KHz PCM and DSD256 capable DAC or DAC-less. Inputs include Ethernet (DLNA), WiFi, Airplay, and Bluetooth. The DAC version offers RCA analog out while the DAC-less version offers USB out. Availability is scheduled for March/April. Classical lovers take note: all of the Aria products include access to the Sonata database and its extended classical metadata.
