Auralic Polaris Wireless Streaming Amplifier

The Auralic Polaris ($3800 +$400 w/1TB) is a wireless streaming amp. Do I need to say more?

Polaris puts out 120W of Hypex power into 8 Ohms and can pass PCM resolutions up to 32/384 and DSD to DSD256. Remote control can be accomplished using Auralic's Lightning DS app or ROon, as Polaris is Roon Ready. Stream from Internet sources including Tidal and Qobuz, play from USB storage, network attached storage, AirPlay and Bluetooth, connect legacy (he he) digital sources to its S/PDIF inputs, play vinyl through its MM phono input, and there even another line level input for whatever. And you can connect to Polaris through its 802.11b/g/n/ac Tri-Band WiFi, even if you want to play Quad DSD and add internal storage if you want to truly go one-box.

Leashed to a pair of Ryan R630 loudspeakers ($5000/pair), this simple system tickled my fancy as simple systems have a wont to do. Polaris will be shipping next month.
