Recently, moths have been named as having the best hearing in the world, in both the animal and human kingdoms

I think about this hobby often: A lot. Recently, the thought that captured my mind was controversy; how is it that a hobby whose purpose is enjoyment so riddled with controversy? My next thought; why not talk about some of them?

If you've read any book Murakami has written, you'll know that he scatters music throughout, like a great filmmaker imbuing the story with greater story. I happen to love, yes love, Haruki Murakami's writing which makes me more than interested in him. But with the MQA approach, we have the worst kind of middleman: solving a problem that has already been, or could be, solved by free and open alternatives, and yet expecting—no, demanding—to be paid again and again for contributing nothing of value. This is rentier capitalism, serving only to suck money out of the system, and stifling creativity in the process. It’s detrimental to society.

Outside of RMAF, this was my first CANJAM. While I am not a headphone kinda guy, I am someone who enjoys seeing people enjoy themselves, especially when its all sorts of people. In this regard, CANJAM ranks right up there with Munich High End, my favorite hi-fi show in the entire world!
